For Christmas this year Annika received a piano; the twins received a piano box. All could not be any happier….<\/p>\n
We are struggling to maintain the reality of Santa\/KristKind. Annika opened her piano box, only to find (and read) the Amazon paperwork (MAIL TO: Mark Johnson…). Sigh.<\/p>\n
The package opening was, shall we say, out of control? We have to work next year on slowing things down, allowing everyone to enjoy and see what each received. <\/p>\n
The duality still continues to challenge us. The Krist Kind comes on Christmas Eve, Santa on Christmas Day (stockings). But I continue to refer to the Krist Kind as Santa (that’s how I sorta see it), with Annika always correcting me.<\/p>\n
I wanted to make a “movie card” this year, to give to friends (You Tube). But, surprisingly, Annika didn’t want to have anything to do with it. She reacted like I was generating homework for her. I’ll try again next year, as it could be a lot of fun.<\/p>\n
